Verizon Wireless' iPod Challengers

AT&T has locked up Apple’s iPhone for another four and a half years… but that doesn’t mean there aren’t other good options out there for cell phone users who want a little music or media in their lives.Verizon Wireless is offering four new models, each designed to keep your toes tapping when you’re not talking.First up, the iPhone-challenging Voyager. This LG phone features a full touchscreen on the outside, and another screen and keyboard found when you flip it open. The Voyager features a two megapixel camera, HTML web browser and an memory slot, expandable to 8 gigabytes. The Venus, also by LG, is a smaller, slimmer slider, that features the same camera and memory specs as the Voyager. New to the mix is the Juke, by Samsung – a much smaller option, which maxes out at 2 gigs, and features a swivel-out keypad, a nifty twist on the slider. The more common Blackberry Pearl rounds out the lineup. Details and prices available now at vzw.com.
